Crying Over Moms Knee

excavation Bielefeld - Sparrenburg - Day 4

Today we went back at 6:30 from the clock springs. * yawn * As expected, I was pretty tired, but thank God, the expected soreness was so far limited, that I only had real pain in the arms and hands.

We smeared our bread, got ready, packed up and drove to the castle. * * Puff up the hill, the things in the trailer and off we went!

Today we made our turn to examine this yesterday a little too exposed rocks on, because Mary had pointed out to us that they could well be part of a wall!

During the day they changed and Dr. Best still several times their opinions regarding this "wall" - the last was back, but now that it was a wall - but we just worked around it cheerfully. The mortar is composed of limestone, which hands despite very dry gloves - to start a good moment to hand cream!

late morning came by some press people we interviewed, photographed, and looked stupid ... Perhaps we are so famous?

Our findings amount to now:

more than 50 earthworms, more than 100 stones and brick fragments, some pottery shards and metal, a shell casing from the 2nd World War II and a pearl.

Miri today were with us, I turn cooking. So we went off after work only to rush home, unloaded our stuff and then went shopping. We had previously picked out a recipe for sweet rice, chicken breasts, pepper sauce and cooked it now.

We were all a bit odd before, but im Endeffekt schmeckte es allen ziemlich gut (zumindest blieben keine Reste übrig)!
